The Group’s story is a classic tale of a family's voyage from rags to riches- a story that is told over 3 generations and managed to create a growing company that implemented these values of familyhood and humanity as its guidelines, to this day.
It all started with two entrepreneur brothers named Sammy and Yuli Ofer, who opened a small shipping chandlery in 1956. Their integrity and professionalism became their trademark and enabled them to risk everything and take a leap towards becoming ship owners. From this leap forward- began a unique and challenging journey, that resulted in XT Group becoming one of Israel’s largest and privately held group of companies.
