Crew Controller

WHAT YOU’LL DO?

• To prepare all the payments of the crew for number of vessels as per the Crew Manager order.
• Checking D/A from Manning agents monthly – verifying the monthly payments with regards to seafarers actual days on board and other payments – flights , medicals , transport etc.
• Monthly portage bill checking and its components like variable, slop chest.
• Crossing portage bill entry in accounting system.
• Capt.’s monthly cash statement management on board.
• Crew claim handling.
• Checking all on leave pending payments.
• Seafarers payrolls.
• Monthly crew allotments preparation and processing further approval.
• Communication with vessel on Special allotments and regular allotments on salary matter.
• Sign off allotments.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED?

 

• Certified bookkeeper is a must! minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge with MS Office (Mainly Excel and Outlook).
• Fluent English speaker.
• Well-organized and respect for colleagues and work environment.
• Accurate and pro-active.
• Team player with positive attitude.
• Experience in the maritime sector is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
