Checking D/A from Manning agents monthly – verifying the monthly payments with regards to seafarers actual days on board and other payments – flights , medicals , transport etc.
Monthly portage bill checking and its components like variable, slop chest.
Crossing portage bill entry in accounting system.
Capt.’s monthly cash statement management on board.
Crew claim handling.
Checking all on leave pending payments.
Seafarers payrolls.
Monthly crew allotments preparation and processing further approval.
Communication with vessel on Special allotments and regular allotments on salary matter.
Sign off allotments.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED?
Certified bookkeeper is a must! minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
Extensive knowledge with MS Office (Mainly Excel and Outlook).
Fluent English speaker.
Well-organized and respect for colleagues and work environment.
Accurate and pro-active.
Team player with positive attitude.
Experience in the maritime sector is an advantage.
Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
