QHSE Assistant

WHAT YOU’LL DO?

• Review and submission of environmental reports concerning IMO DCS / MRV.
• Preparation, submission and follow-up of ship’s manuals, monitoring plans as per the format provided to various third parties Flag / USCG / vessel classification society.
• Submission and follow-up with the flag administration on approval of manuals / PSC reports / flag reports.
• Submission and follow-up for updating of reports on third party platforms (charterers, RIGHTSHIP etc.).
• Assist in preparation of Safety alerts / bulletins / follow-up with the vessels on near miss reports.
• Monitoring / follow-up on reports from the vessel.
• Follow-up and booking of ISM/ISPS/MLC external audits.
• Follow-up on the invoices received from third parties related to QHSE matters.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED?

• An experience in relevant QHSE positions from a shipping company/ An experience as a 2nd officer or a C/O from container or bulk vessels.
• Organization skills.
• Multi-tasking abilities.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Fluent English.
